What's the best way to get the best rate?
Booking directly through our website always gives you our best available rate. Third-party platforms like Expedia or Booking.com add their own fees, which means you end up paying more for the same room.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes — a deposit equal to the first night's rate is required to hold your reservation. The remaining balance is charged at check-in.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your arrival date. Cancellations within 48 hours forfeit the deposit. No-shows are charged in full.
Can I modify my reservation?
Yes — use the "Manage Booking" link in your confirmation email, or contact us directly and we'll take care of it.
Do you offer group rates?
Yes. If you're booking more than two rooms or planning a private event, reach out through our contact page for group pricing.
Arrival & Logistics
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 2 PM. Check-out is at 10 AM. Early check-in and late check-out are available based on availability — just ask when you book or message us the day before.
Is there luggage storage?
Yes — secure luggage storage is available for early arrivals and late departures. No charge.
Is there 24-hour staff on-site?
Our front desk is staffed daily from 9 AM to 9 PM. For anything after hours, we're reachable by phone at (231) 882-7282. We're happy to help anytime.
How far are you from downtown and major attractions?
We're right on the shores of Crystal Lake in Beulah, MI. Sleeping Bear Dunes is 45 minutes away, Traverse City is about an hour, and Frankfort's Lake Michigan beach is 20 minutes. A car is essential for exploring.
Is there parking?
Free on-site parking is available for all guests. There is ample space in our lot — no reservations needed.

Is there high-speed Wi-Fi?
Yes — every suite has complimentary symmetrical fiber internet. The password is in your welcome card. No login screens, no throttling.
Are you pet-friendly?
We are not pet-friendly at this time. Please contact us if you have questions — we're happy to help you find nearby pet-friendly options in Benzie County.
Are the rooms set up for remote work?
All rooms have free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. We're a lakeside resort — most guests are here to be outside. If you need a dedicated work setup, reach out and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
What's included in the stay?
All rooms include free WiFi, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, coffeemaker, and premium bedding. Beach and private dock access on Crystal Lake is included for all guests. No hidden resort fees.
Can locals dine at the restaurant?
We don't have an on-site restaurant. Cold Creek Inn is right down the street at 185 S Benzie Blvd (2nd floor) — great cocktails, outdoor seating, and open from noon Thursday through the weekend. The village of Beulah has several great dining options within walking distance.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Beulah and the surrounding area have dining options for most dietary needs. Cold Creek Inn down the street is flexible with dietary requests. We're happy to suggest specific restaurants — just ask at check-in.
